This is a brilliant product. This isn't just for the elderly. I have MND have needed help being lifted out of chairs, both at the dining table, and in friends houses. With this device I can be lifted easily without any strain to others. Really impressed, this has made a big difference to me.

Happily surprised. My mom is not mobile and is almost 300 lbs. I was really struggling to get her out of her wheelchair until she found the Sit and Stand. It saved us! It’s worth the money - especially if you’re looking at the prices of lift wheelchairs. Only potential downside… it’s fairly loud when it’s inflating (to lift you out), but not obnoxiously so. I just wouldn’t use it in a church or library. We used it in a dentist office and just warned the other patients.

My husband is paralyzed and this is the best thing we have ever found to help lift him out of his wheelchair. Unfortunately, after several months it stopped working. I called customer service and Rebecca was amazing. Within 2 days she went through trouble shooting with me on zoom. We were not able to repair it, but they are sending me a brand new one. Before purchasing a Sitnstand, I needed to sit on multiple foam cushions to get up, but that meant I couldn't be at a normal desk or table height. I read a lot of reviews and always worry that the positive reviews were paid for and not genuine, but I can promise you I was not paid, I bought this for my father who was struggling to get up from his recliner chair. It is expensive but I figured it was less expensive than one of those lift chairs, and as a bonus it is portable, he could put it on any chair or even take it with him if need be.

The other thing I worried about was comfort, because even it worked to lift him, it requires you to sit on it for extended periods of time for it to lift you when you need it and my dad is fussy! It is not only comfortable but really works. It inflates in 4 levels and he doesn't even need them all, usually only uses the first 2 levels and it makes is MUCH easier to stand up. Then leaving it raised, makes sitting easier too.

The service it provides really is priceless, giving independence back, and making getting up and down safer. I am so grateful to the inventors of this product. THANK YOU!
